Why provider growth is patient access
It is tempting to treat provider count as a vanity metric. It is not. Each clinician who joins and gets credentialed is a set of newly bookable appointment slots in a specific state, for specific insurance plans. Growth on the provider side is, very directly, access on the patient side — and that is the number we are really tracking.
